Today, I would like to show you a pure mixed media tag. I am fascinated by mixed media techniques and continue exploring possibilities. For my background, I have first applied a coat of black gesso. On top of it, I have created textures by applying through a stencil Graphite Texture Paste by Finnabair mixed up with Primary Elements. My final touch for the background has been some splashes of watered down Silk acrylic paints.
The focal point is one of Relics & Artifacts pieces by Prima which I have combined with resin wings. I have altered the angel head by applying black gesso and gold Silk paint on top. On the wings I have just applied the paint to create some contrast. I have finalized my composition with some flowers and metallic embellishments and have added on top some beads and microbeads by Finnabair in different colours.
The tag's title is "Create magic" and I submit it to the February More than words mini challenge.
